Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
Become a better student of the game and help my team win more games so we would’ve played in December.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Will Not Lose.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
Become more explosive and better at route running so I can take my game to the next level.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
The coverages, the Linebacker schemes, and the Defensive Linemen’s tendencies. When I need any help, I’m always asking a coach to help break it down.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
My IQ. My passion for the game. I take pride in my blocking. I will clear the hole when needed as I really embrace it.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I love football with a passion. I feel like God gave his toughest battles to football players and if you can go through football you can go through anything in life. I put a lot of time into it. I’m also a great leader off the field. I like getting involved with the community and giving back to the people who are in a worst situation than I am.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
The final pitch I’ll tell the scouts is, you’ll be getting a very hungry and experienced player. A player thats willing to do whatever you need to get a win, whether it’s Tight End, Fullback, or even Special Teams. I am willing to get my hands dirty and do the things other players don’t want to do.
