What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
2 Time All Conference. Top 10 in Tackles Big Sky Regular Season.
Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?
I showed my versatility in playing a variety of positions with great diversity in on field assignments. As well as my ability to make explosive plays in run game, screen game, and pass.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say I am a vocal player they can always trust in assignments and in production. As well as play a variety of positions on the field with confidence and physicality.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
To improve myself: Efficiency of my feet and hands. To scout the other team: Understand the tendencies of the oppositions personnel and play calling.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
My ability to play in space, tackle, cover, play multiple positions on defense and special teams, football IQ, and commitment to greatness in my role on a team.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I am currently training at APEX Performance Facility where they have an excellent Pro day combine, and off season program in place which includes daily training, Physical Therapy recovery, yoga, amongst all other resources for prepare my body.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
A high level of production and commitment to maximizing my ability for the greater success of the team. Off the field I will continue to represent my self and the organization I am apart of with high character.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I am Tristen Vance. Not only an NFL Linebacker but an NFL player who is ready to contribute and excel as a 4 core special teams player as well. Not only that, with me you are getting a true professional who’s soul commitment will be to the individual improvement towards greatness, while commitment equally to the sacrifices and commons goals of the team. My mission is to be at my absolute best for an organization wanting to be at their best.
