What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

A personal goal that I set prior to the season was beating my career highs in both tackles and sacks which I accomplished. A team goal that I set was to win more games than we did in the previous season which we also achieved.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I took this extra year to better myself both mentally and physically. This past season I became more of a student of the game and gathered all the knowledge I could to give myself an advantage on the field.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My teamates and coaches would say that I’m a discipline player that they can count to be where I’m suppose to be every play. They would also say that I’m sort of an on field coach making sure everyone gets the call and get lined up and ready to go.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When watching I pick up on every tendency possible. I look at the depth of the QB drops, the splits of the wide outs, the different stances and sets the Offensnive Lineman are going to give me, and what moves I can work to be successful in pass rushing opportunities.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

The thing that seperates me is my discipline and leadership. I’m a guy that is not only going to know what I have to do, but knows where everyone else needs to be to give our defense the best chance to be successful.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I’ve been training for my Pro Day down in Atlanta at Stack Performance.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

A strength that I would bring to any team is diversity at my position. I’m not just a pass rusher. I can stand up and drop to the flats and play man to man on RBs.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I’m a swiss army knife. I’m capable of doing anything that is asked of me on the field. I can put my hand in the dirt and rush, help stop the run, drop in coverage, run down on special teams… anything that is going to help the team win, I am capable of doing it!
