What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

The goals I set for my final collegiate season was to have a winning season, to have a dominant defense and to make game changing plays which all happened this season.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

Having better technique when it came to defensive line play, getting bigger and stronger, having better football IQ.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say I’m a very energetic and very passionate player.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I focus on the Oline hand sets on passing downs to see if it’s high hands or low hands, also I look at how he moves is he a slow guy with bad feet or is he a guy that can move with good feet also I look to see if he is aggressive when it comes to run blocking and double team blocks also I look at to see if he is a leaner when it comes to his punch.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from other prospects is my mentality on the field always being active around the ball, having the want to factor to go make plays.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My off-season plan is to continue to work on technique not only for the defensive line but for also the combine part of it.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Ball get off, natural leverage, powerful and loves contact, and very disruptive.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch is that you will get a guy that is focused and determined to be the best of the best, you will get a guy that has a chip on his shoulder and will play like it too but also he will have fun doing it.
