Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
Goals I set for this season was to be a first team all American and make a playoff run for my last collegiate season because I haven’t experienced a playoff game yet.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches would say I’m great a leader on and off the field and has a very high IQ when it comes to the game and the DB position. My teammates on the other hand would say I’m straight up dog on the field because of the competitive energy I have and bring to the table.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When studying film I look at tendencies the offense shows such as pre-snap signals, what plays they go to on third down, who they want the ball to go too in certain situations, list goes on. When watching myself I look for my pad level, smooth transitions, and finishing to the ball because good things happen when you run to the ball.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me is my experience, I played D1, D2, and D3 football and finished top in the country for PBU’s and Interceptions. On top of that I can play anywhere in the secondary and I’m a corner that loves to hit so you don’t have to worry about if I can set the edge or play in the box when need be.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My offseason plans are to train for my opportunity to get a combine or pro day invite so when I get the phone call I’ll be ready to go. Another goal of mine is to get a bowl game invite so I can really showcase my abilities.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Strengths and abilities I bring to a team is being experienced and always willing to learn. I’m a players coach for sure and I’ll study other positions so I know where everyone will be at in certain calls. Off the field I make sure my teammates around me are good outside of football and ask if there’s anything they need help with because we all have lives outside of the facilities.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
My final pitch is whoever wants me to be apart of their organization I’ll put my best foot forward and be ready to make an immediate impact in a positive way. The standard is to be the best no matter what it is that you do and I’ll demand it out of everyone until we all are on the same page.
