What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
This season I received honorable mention as well as becoming 13th in rushing in school history at Pittsburg State.
Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?
I took advantage of the extra year by trying to become the best player and teammate I could be. I wanted to get out my comfort zone of being not just a leader by example but becoming more of a vocal leader and was able to obtain that by being nominated by my peers as one of the team captains for the 2021 season. I worked daily at finding any area in my game that I felt could be better. Extra work in the weight room and training room to make sure my body was is the best possible shape to take on the season.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would tell you I’m the type of player that will leave everything I have out on the field. They would tell you that whenever my number is called I’m there to step up and make it happen. I’m the type of player that wants to bring people along with me, even if it’s just one person. I want everyone at the top.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
At running back, when I watch film I key in on my opponents tendencies. I take note of what defensive formations and fronts that they like to play with the offense that we run. Knowing their fronts makes it more clear for me to know where my reads and cut back lanes will be for the week. Another big indicator we like to watch in the RB room is where the safeties are on the field. Keying in on safeties let’s us know where they like to bring pressure from when they blitz so I can know what side to expect it from.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I’m a complete running back. I’m a every down back who can run down hill and side line to side line and run routes out the back field as well as pass protect. My vision, physicality, and speed is what stands out when you turn on my film.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I’m training at Sports performance institute in my hometown in Tulsa Oklahoma and doing everything I can to get my body right for pro day in March.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Leadership and motivation. They go hand and hand, I try to apply these to everything I do. It’s about bringing people along with you to the top. Couple those traits with my competitive drive and you have a team full of highly motivated competitors who’s bond goes deeper than just football.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

You never have to worry if you’re taking a gamble with me. I’m results-driven and I let my performance speak for itself. It’s an honor every time I step on the field.
