Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Last year around February, I created a list of goals that I wanted to achieve before the end of my collegiate career. I went in my iPhone after days of figuring out what were some realistic goals that would motivate me to become the best player I could possible be. Those goals were become a Buchanan award finalist, All-American, All-New England, All-NEC, Bryant University’s all time sack leader, and conference leader in tackles for defensive linemen. These 6 goals were put in order of importance and I believed they were achievable for me. Fortunately, I was able to accomplish all of my goals except the All-American honor. It was an exciting feeling to go back in my iPhone after the season and see that all those goals I set months prior to the season were accomplished.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would probably say I am a player who focuses on the little things in order to perform the best on Saturdays. My teammates and coaches know I put a lot into lifting and my work ethic in practice. I am a player who needs to have a good week of practice and learn from mistakes throughout the week in order to perform at my best.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I focus on my technique, my opponent’s strengths and weaknesses, and learning from the mistakes I make in practice. Also, I like to visualize myself playing when I watch film, therefore it gets me more mentally prepared for game time which helps make the game slower for me.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I would say my work ethic and ability to learn each day as a player. I’m always looking to improve my game so I’m always open to learning more and more about my position and the game of football.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I plan on training with a few really talented strength and conditioning coaches at Bryant University and some speed trainers locally. I decided it was best for me to stay at school to train especially with strength coaches who have helped transform my body over the years! Those guys are coach Buck, coach Ken, coach Mike, and a few others who I know will train me to be in the best shape possible.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I’m a player who’s gonna bring you great effort on everything he does. Also, I’m a big pass rush guy and I would love to showcase those skills for any NFL team out there.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

If you give me an opportunity, it won’t be something you’ll regret. Whichever NFL team gives me the chance to be apart of their organization, I promise you the return on investment will be great for you. Every team I’ve played for I have been able to overcome adversity and perform at the highest level. I plan on continuing to do this at the professional level as well. Also, you will be getting a great person who hopes to give back to his community and those in need. I just want to be able to inspire those who grew up in a similar situation like mine to believe in themselves and their dreams.
