Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

In my final college season, a personal goal of mine was to become All WAC’s first team. Also, get my name on Scout’s radar. As a team with only a nine-game schedule and ruled out of a playoff run, our goal was to play for our standard and culture.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches would say that I am a dominant, versatile, and reliable player who has a knack not only for football but for the game as well. They will also say I’m highly coachable and always willing to learn new tools to elevate myself and my teammates. My teammates would add that I lead by example on and off the field. I’m a player who is attentive to detail and always looking to elevate them on and off the field.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I look for numerous things when studying film. First, I figure out their top 3 runs and pass protections. Then, I shift over to the QB and his tendencies. Is he left or right-handed? What is his launching point? 5,6,7 yards. Is he a scrambler? If so, where does he like to scramble from? Knowing this is key for when I’m a QB spy. Next, I look for tendencies from the tackles. Are they aggressive or passive-run blockers? Do they punch, grab, or catch in pass protection? Lastly, I see if they can handle movement (stunt game) well.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from other prospects is my discipline and consistency. I take care of business on and off the field, such as my body, mental, and preparation for the game. I am a versatile player who can play multiple spots and be effective.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My off-season plan is to perfect my craft in the pass rush game and continue to study the game mentally.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Regarding my strength and abilities on the field, I will bring a dynamic pass-rush game with the hunger to be disruptive in the run game. Off the field, my mental preparation and work ethic separates me from others.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I’m a motivated man who is hungry for greatness. I’m just getting started, only barely scratching the surface. I could tell you my story of how difficult my journey has been, but no, it’s not supposed to be easy anyway. If it were, anyone would do it. I’m here now, and I’m eager for more. I’m coming in with a great attitude and mindset, ready to impact whoever gives me an opportunity significantly.
