Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
Some goals that I set for myself were to be elected team captain for my second year in a row and lead my team to a successful season. Being apart of the all-American teams was always on my sights especially this year brings it was my last year.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I’m that guy who is going to be there when it gets tough. I embrace the grind and enjoy having fun with my brothers. As much as I enjoy the game I try to soak up as much about it as I go.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
D-line is the first place I look. Everyone knows the line of scrimmage is where ball games are lost and won. Understanding who they are how they move with gaps is huge for me. Linebackers are what I look at next to understand who will be filling gaps, and going up against big pullers.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
Small town kid, with big time dreams. I’ve always had a chip on my shoulder, and would love the chance to prove all the doubters wrong once again.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I have a gym here in town that works great with me. The main thing is getting back healthy from this past season and building off of that.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I will bring a strong and ambitious attitude with me wherever, and with that I hope to use my God given strength and speed on the field. Im dedicated to my craft. I understand that there is always room for improvement and strive to do so on a day to day basis.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
If you want someone who is going to come in and put his head down and work no matter the circumstance. I am your guy. I will push and strive to be great no matter what position I play.
