Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Setting goals for me is something I do every season for both personal and team achievements. The goals I set for the team were: to win the conference championship, become a top 10 ranked defense in the nation, to grow and develop players underneath me and to make it to the elite 8 for national playoffs. We accomplished all of those except for making it to the elite 8. The individual goals I set were: Make All-Conference, lead the team in Sacks, cause 5 turnovers, be a leader and someone that guys looked up to and continue to grow myself physically, emotionally and relationally. I accomplished a lot of these but fell short in leading the team in sacks.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would describe me as an exceptional player known for my leadership qualities, dedication, and high level IQ and skill. I consistently strive for excellence both on and off the field, motivating those around me to perform at their best. Always going above and beyond what’s asked. My commitment to the team’s success and my ability to lead by example make me a valuable asset to any group.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When studying film, I analyze my individual performances and where other LBs performed well or where they didn’t. That gives me an idea of how the upcoming team will try to call plays. I like to dive heavy into the analytics side of things knowing formation recognition. What personal sets they have out and what the offensive coordinator likes to do. This attention to detail allows me to refine my skills, adapt my playing style, and make informed decisions during games.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What sets me apart from other pro prospects at my position is a combination of my high IQ, passion for the game, and leadership capabilities. I bring a unique blend of strategic thinking, technical proficiency, and the ability to inspire and elevate the performance of those around me. This distinctive combination makes me a standout choice among other competition.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My offseason plan is to continue to train at Altius Performance out of Stillwater. My personal trainer Matt Yegge, former D1 athlete who specialized in sport performance. I have a meal plan and 5-day workout plan that is designed to maximize my physical and mental readiness for the professional level. I’m really just trying to stay dedicated and focusing on maintaining peak fitness, while I see if an opportunity arises.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

On the field, I bring a unique set of strengths, including experience at the position, my high level IQ, desire to learn and the ability to perform under pressure. Off the field, I am known for my strong work ethic, professionalism, leadership and positive influence in the locker room. My commitment to teamwork and a relentless pursuit of excellence make me a well-rounded asset to any organization.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

In my final pitch to the NFL and other pro leagues, I emphasize my proven track record of success, my dedication to continuous improvement, and my unwavering commitment to being a positive force within any team. I am not just a player with high IQ and skill; I am a leader who brings a winning mentality, adaptability, and a passion for the game. I am ready to contribute to the success of a professional team both on and off the field.
