Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
Become elite at all aspects of the game. Catching the ball while taking on contact while enhancing my ability to run routes at the slot receiver position.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
Game changer. I’m able to make tough catches across the middle while also using my speed to be a threat down field. I also am able to punt the ball and flip the field. I had an 87 yarder and a 78 yarder this past season when I was able to open up my leg. I also returned punts and played one game as the kickoff returner which also increases my ability to make plays.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
Reading the defense and developing a plan of attack with my QB and the coaching staff. For me personally watching film on my drill work to help improve my footwork and route running while also knowing how to play football.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I can do it all on the field and I also am a great teammate in the locker room. Over the 6 years of playing college football I’ve created an amazing group of friends that I will have for a life time and without football I will forever have the bonds I’ve created and hope to continue making more.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I plan on training with my guy in Detroit as I did last year and run faster, jump higher and show the world my talent again for my upcoming pro day.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I believe that I have grown so much over the course of this year. While transferring to a new school I had to learn a whole new playbook, position and fit in with my new teammates. This gives me the ability to adapt.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
Opportunity to play a sport you grew up watching on television and listening to on the radio. I know this if I get that opportunity I will be making the most of it.
