Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
Before the season I made goals to mature mentally as an athlete, student, and man in my final season. I’m still have some maturing to do on the student aspect as I prepare for graduation in May 2023. As for the other aspects I feel I made some great progress this season while accomplishing those goals.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches & teammates would describe me as a studious, humble, hard working, energetic player. I’m the type of teammate that is more excited than my teammates are about them making plays.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When watching film I look to improve my route recognition, learning my opponent’s tendencies, as well as their strengths & weaknesses.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I’d say it’s my perseverance that separates me from others. If you looked over my career, I wasn’t a 4 year starter. However, I made plays with the opportunities that I was given.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I plan to better my ball skills & open field tackling. While training I will be working on becoming more consistent at the basics such as eyes discipline when breaking. With my length I’d like to add more weight & speed.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
As a pro athlete I’ll bring discipline but tons of energy. I’ll be able to create more opportunities for my offense by causing turnovers on not only defense but special teams also. I love to encourage my teammates to be great by saying “Make a play before I do, because when I do you are going to hear me!”
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
My final pitch would be adding me to their roster they would had an hard working athlete who knows about keep his head down, continuing to chop wood.
