Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The goals I set and accomplished is knowing my role as being a veteran of the Dixie State football team, teaching the incoming players about being a student first and an athlete second. Also, I set to be the career rushing touchdown leader which I accomplished and also scoring touchdowns the 1st play of the game which I did twice in my final collegiate season.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say that I am a hardworking player, first one to meetings, on the field, and last one to leave. My coaches and teammates would also say that I’m a team player and help others around me whoever needs guidance.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
When I am studying film, I focus on the defensive fronts and what they love to do versus our type of formations that we line up in. I also like to study my own tendencies in whether to be patient in the holes, or to burst in certain aspects of the game.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
The thing that separates me from other pro prospects in my position is I am willing to play every position, offense or defense, and special teams, in order, as a unit, for our team to win. I can be put anywhere on the field and make sure I do my job to the best of my ability, be an all star in that position and study my position to make sure I am the best I can be for when it comes to game day.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My offseason plan to train on the field, train off the field in the film room, to perfect my ability in my position.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Strengths and abilities I can bring to my team that would stand out on and off the field is I will be a student of the game that will separate me from my position, I would know the abilities of the defense and knowing who I’m going up against, so that I can be the best I can be. I am also an athlete all around so wherever you put me on the field, I will be the best in that position.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
Final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues is I will be willing to put in the time and effort to make sure that any role I play, I will star in my role. I will star in my role and make sure I do everything I can to maintain to be a star in my role.
