Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
Heading into this offseason preparing for the draft my goals were to work on becoming more powerful, explosive, and also improving muscular endurance.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Resiliency, mental/physical toughness, and playing with reckless abandon.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
When studying film, I look at the tendencies and route recognition. If I can have a better idea of what they like to run in certain formations, I can play faster.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
Ability to communicate effectively with others, ability to give relentless effort, mental and physical toughness.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
I’ve been a walk-on my whole life. So putting in the work to accomplish a goal isn’t something that is unfamiliar to me. Everyone has their weak points and strong suits and should continue to identify and work on them in a well rounded manner. I believe in being as coachable as possible to be able to achieve both my individual goals as well as my teams goals.
