Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My goals were to be the best teammate I could for my team I knew I would contribute on the field but I needed to make sure I was able to others off the field so I can learn to understand how all my teammates work and who they are as a person
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I feel as if my coaches and teammates would say that I bring a different type of energy to those around me. Football means a-lot to me so being able to just wake up and throw my pads on and go to the facility is everything to me! My teammates would also say that I’m someone they can count on, inside football and outside of football they see me as a natural leaders and I and somebody who can lead by example I like to make sure we are always on the same page and we can all work together and if we can’t we won’t get anything done I like to bring the team together.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When I’m studying film my main focus is looking at the scheme of each team and breaking film down week by week. Not only just looking at the opposing offense but special teams too, I take pride in getting that extra step ahead on each opponent week in and out.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I think something that separates me from a lot of people is my motor I’m not going to stop I’m Alwyas looking to make the play or be around in it 11 hats to the ball should be the mentally and that’s how many people should be there when the ball stopped , I’m quick off the edge I like to use a lot of counter moves and get back in to the quarterback I like to spill pulling guards and I have no problem sitting and being patient on plays.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My off-season plain stays just like I’m in season making sure I’m on the field drinking water in the weight room doing all the little things and taking care of my body stretching resting sleeping and making sure to get all my meals in.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
The strengths that I bring to a team is relentless energy and juice making sure all my teammates are positive they are doing good ready to go work or perform putting them before me because with out them I can’t do anything on the field I need my teammates we all play a roll that we need to trust and understand each other and I’m a natural leader I know how to get everybody on the same level when things aren’t going are way it’s adversity it happens to everyone.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
My final pitch to any pro team is that I’m not here to waist nobody time I understand this is a business and everyone can be replaced I wanna show coaches I’m a player they can rely on and they need on the team not just making plays but also making sure my team is sticking together we’re moving as one and making sure they are ready to compete day after day so we can be the best we can be iron sharpens iron.
