Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My goals were to win the empire 8 championship and get a bid for the ncaa playoffs, conference defensive player of the year, all region, and all American honors. I was able to achieve conference defensive player of the year, and all-conference awards. Still waiting on the all-region and all-American honors to be announced.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I think they’ll say that I am someone that leads by example, vocal, willing to do’s anything to help the team win, and selfless player.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I look what formations offenses are in, where the receiver is lined up, and the tendencies of the receivers weather it’s the different type of releases he does or the different ways he runs his routes.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I believe that I am a very versatile football player whether it’s playing outside or inside corner, blitzing off the edge and I think I am very explosive in the return game.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I will be staying up in school training with our strength and conditioning coaches.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I will bring a lot of speed and aggressiveness to the defense. Being very vocal and trying to make sure everyone is on the same page. I will also bring my versatility to the team that will allow coaches to put me anywhere on the field to make an impact.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I have unconditional love for the game, I will show 100 % effort in the film room, practice and most importantly games. I have the confidence like no other and I believe that I could make an impact for your team in numerous ways.
