Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My goals were to lead the defense in sacks, lead the defense line in tackles. I wanted our defense to be the best run stop defense in D2. I lead the defensive line in both tackles and sack. I also played in HBCU Spirit Of America Bowl Game.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches would say I lead by example. When our strategy isn’t going as planned I encourage my teammates to do their jobs. My teammates would say I tell them to keep their heads up and keep grinding for all four quarters.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
I look at everything in film study. If I stepped wrong, hand placement, if I got beat to the gap. I want to improve on every aspect of the game.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I’m a hard worker. I don’t quit when times get hard. I’m a coachable player. I have a good IQ for the game.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I’m working out everyday trying to sharpen my craft. Hand placement and quick feet is a big thing in trenches.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
On the field you will get a hard worker, leader that lead by example and a team player. Off the field you will be getting some one that stay in the playbook and in the film room.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
I’m an all purpose defensive lineman. I can do it all. I can stop the run and I can get to the quarterback. I’m the full package.
