Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
To continue elevating my play every single week, be the best teammate possible for my team, and to be a leader and bring others along.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Aggressive, consistent, smart.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I will continue working out with my trainer, working on being more explosive and quicker.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
I look to see the different fronts the defenses come out in. How they line up to personnel we will be running against them. Where the Linebackers are, what fronts they usually run their blitzes from, where the Safeties are, do the lineman flip flop or just play one side, do they shift when players are in motion or just keep their base defense. There’s a lot of factors in film watching.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
I’m a technician, I have the most passion for this game, and you won’t find any other player that would do anything for their team/teammates to be in a successful situation.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I’m never a problem, I’m a very coachable player, playing with good leverage is what I do, I have good football strength, I lead by example, and I will for sure make a positive impact.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
You will get a player who will get the job done, play with great emotion, impact your organization in the most positive manner possible, and make a believer out of anyone. I promise you.
