Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Voted team captain, first team all conference, lead team in tackles.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

As a teammate I think they would say I’m a team-first leader who possesses a genuine appreciation and concern for his teammates. As a player I am always prepared, high IQ, gets everyone lined up, reads and reacts rapidly, plays fast and physically, and a great tackler.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I’m watching myself I always start with alignment and assignment to make sure I did the right thing that play, then I go to my pad level, my footwork, my block destruction technique, and finally my tackling technique. When watching opponents, I like to study alignments, usually by RBs, TEs, & WRs to see if they give away any plays. I also like to see the skill set of the skill players and see how they like to run with the ball in their hands, like if they are gonna try to make you miss or run around you or run you over.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My football IQ is elite and am always one step ahead of everyone else. I use my preparation and understanding of the defense & offense along with my athletic ability to make plays before they even happen.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I am staying here in Bozeman, MT to train with our strength & conditioning coach, who formerly trained players for the combine before he took this job.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My strengths on the field are again my high football IQ and ability to communicate with others, I believe I am a very athletic LB who can play sideline to sideline, and I’m a very sure tackler. Off the field, I am a very supportive teammate and can be a great leader if needed, again I can communicate at a high level in order to help get everyone on the same page. I will put in whatever work is necessary to get my job done both on and off the field.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I’m an intelligent, athletic, tough as nails LB who can do a multitude of different things and will do whatever is asked of me. I will be the hardest worker on the team if given the opportunity.
