Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Before I answer this question, I want to say it was a blessing to play college football this year after everything that I’ve been through. For this season, my main goal was to become the best leader and let my actions show that I’m the best here. I wanted to go to the National Championship and we did, even though we lost, the memories made from that team will last a lifetime.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

What my coaches and teammates would say about me is that I love to have fun while playing the game, but there’s a time to play and have fun, then there’s times when I have to flip the switch and become serious about my job and my leadership role.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When watching film, I’m always taking notes for not only myself and the game-plan, but watching my opponents to see if the OL gives away any keys so we know what play is coming? Typically per week I will watch close to 7 hours of film each week, for opponent scout and watching practice to see where I can better myself.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

The thing that separates me from others in this years Draft class is my maturity and the amount of effort I bring everyday. Effort goes both ways whether it’s in the weight room, on the field, or in the classroom, I’m making sure that I give it 100 percent in everything I do so that I don’t have any regrets later on in life. Because of my experiences in life so far, I’ve learn how to be mature for my age and learned how to be brutality honest with not only myself but of others.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My biggest off season plan for training for the draft was to lose weight and build muscle mass. Since my training in the beginning of January, I’ve lost over 20 pounds and my body fat is at 15 percent compared to 23 percent. My biggest message that I tell myself everyday is to leave no regrets, and give it your all every single day like it’s your last.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The strengths that I’ll bring to any team is effort and to get involved with any community service opportunities that I can get myself in. My little league coach told me a long time ago that effort will never betray you, you’ll stand out more and it’ll hold others to a certain standard as well. Since I was a kid, I always wanted to be involved in community service events, to hopefully one day have a foundation for myself to help others. As Pros, we have an obligation to help out our communities and to inspire others that you can pursue your dreams.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to all the scouts is that I can sit here and talk the talk. But I’m a man of action, so I’m not gonna sit here and tell you what a lot of others have said in the past, what I will say is that no one will be as mature and act more like a professional than me on and off the field. I have an obligation to anybody that I will 100 percent give it my all and inspire others around me.
