Position: DT
Height: 6’3″

Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

The main goals that I have had during this season was to get over 3 sacks, which I did accomplish by getting 4.5 and becoming more of a leader that my teammates know that they can trust and to be able to ensure accountability throughout our program.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I would like to believe that my coaches would see me as a guy that would come to the facility with a fire in my eyes with a relentless drive to outwork my competition. My teammates have told me that I am a fighter and that I don’t back down, regardless of the situation that is presented to me and they know that I would have their back through absolutely anything.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When I look at my opponents on film it’s a little different on defensive line. It’s important for me to look at the subtle tendencies they have, whether that is tips in their stances that show they are pulling, doubling, scooping, or light on their fingertips and in a pass rush stance. It’s all about details when I watch film. I like to see watch the sideline view before I go to the endzone to observe their effort as well.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I would say my lateral movement and awareness of what is going on around me.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I plan to train wherever to better myself in both a mental and physical aspect.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I think that the strengths and abilities that I have are invaluable to a defense because I am very detailed in my work and am very big on technique, if you have no technique you won’t see results. Also, I like to see myself as an uplifting person when adversity is presented, so being that motivator on the sidelines when things are going bad can benefit any organization.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

I think that they will be getting a hungry competitor that will always carry a chip on his shoulder. Underdog mentality
