Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Zavian: Confident, physical, smart.
Q: How are you going to train/prepare this offseason in preparation for the draft or other pro opportunities?
Zavian: I will train extremely hard to increase my strength speed and endurance to compete at the next level.
Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?
Zavian: Tyrann Mathieu, play style playmaker and the mindset are the same such as I eat or you eat.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
Zavian: I look for a receivers tendencies on certain routes that are run, also, I look to see if a receiver is consistent with their releases and steps off the ball. I look for any weaknesses.
Q: What separates you from other players at your position?
Zavian: What separates me from any other defensive backs is my 4.3 4.2 speed. Also, the desire to know I’m going to destroy my opponent every play.
Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Zavian: Leadership, great citizenship, I will always be responsible for my actions and deeds. I will conduct myself at all times.
Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
Zavian: I’m going to give 100% effort every play, every second, every snap. I’m very explosive in man-man cover 3, cover 4, or any other coverage. I bring a lot of speed off the edge with blitzing. I consider myself very versatile in the secondary. I can play inside and outside corner, very physical on the snap of the ball.
