Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Nashawn: A play maker.
Q: How are you going to train/prepare this offseason in preparation for the draft or other pro opportunities?
Nashawn: I will be working on a lot of footwork drills change of direction drills and speed training along with lifting this offseason.
Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?
Nashawn: I would compare myself to Aqib Talib’s playing style, a big physical corner.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
Nashawn: When I’m studying film, I’m looking at the WR, seeing how he lines up when he runs his routes, where they like to go with the ball middle of the field left or right. Looking to see what kind of Quarterback I’m facing, does he stare his reads down or looks the safety off formation they run, a lot things like that.
Q: What separates you from other players at your position?
Nashawn: I’m tall, same high as most WRs, physical, and I can run with the best, so it’s hard to throw around me.
Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Nashawn: I would like to bring leadership on and off, a guy with good character, high energy, and big play ability.
Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
Nashawn: I’m a guy from a small school, but my play speaks for itself. I can run with the best and I can guard the best, I’m a competitor who will compete at a high level.
