Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Jarell: Aggressive, Relentless, Instinctive.
Q: How are you going to train/prepare this offseason in preparation for the draft or other pro opportunities?
Jarell: I have been and will continue to train in Baton Rouge, LA with Ryan Clark & Mack Chuilli.
Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?
Jarell: Kam Chancellor because of his aggressive style of play, his physicality, and a lot of my game is modeled after his. Also, I have the same body type, speed, etc. However, I will always pay homage to the greatest, Sean Taylor.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
Jarell: I look for route progressions, go to plays on certain down and distances, tendencies from all positions, alignments, splits, etc.
Q: What separates you from other players at your position?
Jarell: Work ethic and willingness to learn as well as improve.
Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Jarell: Versatility on the field, and great character off the field.
Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
Jarell: I am a diamond in the rough and have the work ethic of no other. I persevere and am consistent. Whoever doesn’t give me a chance will regret it.
