Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Jareid: Fast, Relentless, Powerful.
Q: How are you going to train/prepare this offseason in preparation for the draft or other pro opportunities?
Jareid: I have been training since a week after my last college game, but I have been training at a place called Velocity with my trainer Donald Driver. I also have been going to Exos a training facility to work on specific position drills.
Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?
Jareid: I would say Khalil Mack, because I am very versatile, I can play OLB really well and rush the passer from there, but also I can drop into coverage. I also can play defensive end and put my hand in the dirt and get after the QB.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
Jareid: I focus on the down and distance and what the teams tendencies are, I also watch the offensive lineman to see if they give away run or pass.
Q: What separates you from other players at your position?
Jareid: What separates me from others is that I am fast for my size and I am just as good at pass rush as I am in the run game. I am also a sideline to sideline player and am great on special teams.
Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Jareid: What I would bring to the team is that I am a great team player on and off the field, I also am a great leader and try to better the players around me so that the team gets better as a whole rather than being selfish.
Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
Jareid: I am one of the hardest workers you will ever meet. I know that I went to a smaller school, but I stepped up when we played the bigger SEC schools, and I know I can compete with the best, when you give me an opportunity, I will not let you down.
