Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
George: Smart, Versatile, Violent.
Q: How are you going to train/prepare this offseason in preparation for the draft or other pro opportunities?
George: Continue doing what I’ve been doing since I started when I was a kid and that’s to work as hard as I possibly can and never slack, so that I can turn any weakness into a strength. Grind and Pray.
Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?
George: I like Telvin Smith’s game a lot, he’s very versatile and plays fast and strong while not being that heavy, and I feel like I play the same way. We play bigger than our listed weights would suggest.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
George: Little hints whether it be player alignments or formation tendencies that key to where the play is going or play type, so I can react faster and get to the ball more efficiently.
Q: What separates you from other players at your position?
George: I would say my knowledge of football and how serious I take the mental aspect of the game separates me from other players, I enjoy knowing what the other team is going to do just as much as I enjoy making plays on the field.
Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
George: I would bring the versatility that teams need at the linebacker position, those tweener guys are being needed more and more in today’s game and I feel as though I fit that mold perfectly. In terms of off the field, I’m a level headed guy who was brought up on taking care of business first before anything. I’m not big on being a distraction kind of guy, so I won’t be a problem off the field for any team.
Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
George: I would tell them that I am a guy who is hungry to continue playing football and I am willing to do whatever it takes to get a shot. I am going to do all the right things and make it tough to get rid of me. I’m confident in my abilities to play the game at the next level and I’m dying for someone to take a chance, so I can prove that I can do it.
