Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Dvonta: Physical, Smart, Leader.
Q: How are you going to train/prepare this offseason in preparation for the draft or other pro opportunities?
Dvonta: Training with Patrick Peterson Sr. down in Florida. He’s a great trainer and supporter.
Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?
Dvonta: Ryan Shazier because he can run sideline to sideline and can cover wideouts or running backs out the back field. He is very fast just like myself and a great tackler.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
Dvonta: I look for down and distance, tendencies that the offense does, where they like calling plays to the boundary or the field.
Q: What separates you from other players at your position?
Dvonta: My speed and the way I shoot gaps and make plays. I also get off blocks well.
Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Dvonta: I will bring excitement and be a team player on the field and give it my all to help the team win. Off the field, I will give back to kids and help them to life a better life, like building group homes for kids.
Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
Dvonta: My last pitch will be if you pick me up, I guarantee I will be be a great leader. Make the players around me better. I’m a hard worker and can’t live without football.
