Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Chad: Fast, physical, and quick.
Q: How are you going to train/prepare this offseason in preparation for the draft or other pro opportunities?
Chad: I am currently training with one of the top trainers in the Dallas Metroplex, Ronnie “Real Truth” Braxton. He trains current NFL players and 2017 prospects and has worked with me on getting my body right, and my technique right with position specific drills. Most importantly, he also emphasizes working on eating properly and focusing, getting your mind right.
Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?
Chad: I would compare myself to Chris Harris Jr. He plays quick, physical, and fast. He also is considered a small corner, but he plays with a tenacity and a chip on his shoulder.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
Chad: I’m looking to see if the WR has good feet, a good release, and what kind of separation they get in their routes.
Q: What separates you from other players at your position?
Chad: My quick feet and closing speed separates me from others. I have good balance and body control.
Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Chad: I love to put in work. You don’t have to ask me twice when it comes to working out and training. I am a former HS track star, so everything is like a race and competition for me. I am going to work fast and go 100%. It will push others to do the same. I keep a positive attitude, and being a db, you have to. Each day is a new day.
Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
Chad: I definitely feel I have the athleticism and attitude to play on Sundays. I am a hard worker, and I feel that I have the talent that is comparable to what was invited to the NFL combine. All I need is the opportunity.
