Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
What I wanted to accomplish my final season was to put my best foot forward in helping my team get back to the NEC championship and to be able to reach the playoffs for a national championship. I also wanted to give a great performance on the field and make my presence felt and contribute to my team’s success.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would consider me a guy that comes in and works hard everyday and give 110% everyday. They would also say that I’m a guy that leads by example. They would also say I’m a team oriented guy that always wants what’s best for the team.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
While watching film on my self there’s a few things that I would change to improve my game. The first thing is recognizing What type of blocks I’m getting so I can get off of them faster. I would also want to improve on being able to stay solid when pinching inside gaps. The last thing that I would want to improve on is not rounding my pass rush as much making every step count.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me from the other pro prospects is that I’m a great edge player who can play out in space as well as drop into coverage. I’m physical at the point of attack and I feel as if I’m always going to put the best product out onto the field.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My off season plans are to continue on training with my trainer gaining speed, strength ,and power as well as flexibility and mobility. I will also be working on positional things like pass rush and recognizing the different blocks I will see faster. Lastly I will be attacking cardio heavy in order to be able to play with out fatigue.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
The strengths that I’m going to be bringing into a team is my ability to play anywhere they need me to play and make a difference when I’m on the field. Off the field they will be getting someone that takes they’re job seriously buy going the extra mile to make sure my body is in shape and ready to go someone who is going to do the right things in the community and won’t bring unwanted attention to the organization.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
My final pitch is that you’ll be getting a guy that comes to work everyday a guy who’s go all out every play every rep. They will be getting a guy who is willing to run through a wall for an organization someone who wants to win and is also team oriented. They would be getting a complete player that will contribute to the organization’s success with whatever position you put him in.
