Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

The individual goals I set and accomplished for myself were to get bigger, faster, and stronger, to be elected team captain, and to get all conference recognition. After working hard all season and offseason, I was able to accomplish each of those things. As a team, we had the goal of winning games and making the playoffs. Although we did not make the playoffs, I believe we progressed as a team each week and had fun doing it. I also had the goal of being an academic all american. I was named academic all region and am waiting on the all americans to be announced.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I believe my coaches and teammates would say that I am a fearless game changer with a high IQ for the game. I also believe they would say I am a leader by example and a hard worker after they voted me a team captain three straight years.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When studying opponents film, I focus on tendencies that teams and individual players have for different game situations. When studying my own film, I look to see if there is anything I could do differently or better for every single rep to become the best player I can possibly be. I also sometimes watch players in the NFL that are similar to me, such as Julian Edelman and Cole Beasley, to see how they continue to thrive at the highest level.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

The three things that separate me from other prospects are my preparation, my mentality, and my playmaking ability. I prepare myself on the practice field, in the film room, and in the weight room to be ready for all game situations. I bring an extremely competitive, hate to lose mentality to everything I do. And on the field, I have tremendous ball skills to make the 50-50 catches and have the ability to make game changing plays at any moment in the game.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My plan is to continue to train to get bigger, faster, and stronger in the weight room and on the field. And I plan to continue to work on field work, footwork, and ball drills with QB’s. I will work on whatever it takes to better myself for the next level.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Like I said before, I was voted team captain three straight years, so I bring tremendous leadership skills off the field. On the field, I bring a high IQ for the game, incredible playmaking abilities, and a competitive attitude to win in every single thing I do.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

Given my size, I have been doubted my whole life and I have proven doubters wrong every single time. Through hard work and dedication, I plan to continue to prove doubters wrong. I have a will to win in everything I do and am willing to sacrifice and do whatever it takes to help any team win.
