Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My main goals were to have a better season than we did in 2021, be the best leader I could be to my teammates and to graduate. Thankfully I accomplished all three goals.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches would say Im a natural born leader who gives it his all every play and makes his teammates better. They also would let you know I get the guys going going everyday in practice. Any of my teammate I have had in college will tell you I’m one of the hardest workers they know and extremely passionate about the game.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When I’m watching film I start by looking at my fist step. Did I false step ? Did I get a good get off ? Did I step to the right gap? I then look at if I did my assignment correctly or what could I have done differently. As far as my opponents, I look at the down and distance, personnel , and the body language of the o line. Those keys usually let me know what type of play they are running.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
My high motor ,quick burst, and knowledge/ passion separates me from other prospects. We all can come off the ball and make a play but who’s going to do it every play for all 4 quarters. I’m that player, my film, teammates, coaches, and opponents can all vouch for me.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I’ve been doing my pro day training at EPTS in NJ with Head trainer Jeremy Campbell for the last 8 weeks. I have been doing position training mostly for linebacker but have trained with dbs often to work better in space.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I bring a great sense of leadership on and off the field. On the field I’m a vocal leader, I will hold guys accountable, give 100% effort on special teams, and I am a very coach-able player. Off the field I also try to lead by example. I’m aware we are representing the team not just ourselves so I try to be respectful, leave things better than I find them, and go about things the right way.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
My final pitch to all the professional leagues would be that I’m a player that loves the game and everything comes with it. I play every down like it’s my last, I dont complain about the work, and I bring my teammates along while doing it. I can play with the best of them, every time I get a chance to showcase my talent I prove that.
