Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
Well, first thing was I had to get to a School. I was in the transfer portal for a while, and the goal was to play FBS football for my final season. My goals in the game was to put out the best film and be the best punter to come out of Troy University.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
Dedicated and an overachiever. I spent hours a day in the facility before and after practice perfecting my craft not caring if anyone saw me or not.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
How to overcome a lot of things this season; injuries, the style of punting like my steps. There’s always a different game plan and we can always improve no matter if it’s my hands, my feet or my ball drop.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
For my age I’m very talented and I have a pro style type of punting kind of like a veteran already. I’m super consistent and I can probably teach some of them a thing or 2.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I’m seasonally always ready, so I’m gonna do the same thing I’ve been doing the past 15 years of my life.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I’d say the type of person I am, I’m more than just a football player. I want to have fun, I’m a leader and people like to follow what I do. People know that I look at life differently no matter what. I always have a positive outlook on everything.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I’ve proven that I can punt at the NFL level this past season more than ever. If I’m giving a task, I have the highest turn out rate out of any punter in this years draft. I compete with NFL punters all the time. I’m there.
