Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The only goal I set for my senior season was to win the SIAC championship & change the culture around Lane College. Since I’ve been at Lane we’ve always been the underdogs but now as much as people don’t want to accept it they have to respect us.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say that I am a leader on and off the field. I mentored a lot of guys and dealt with a lot of different personalities keeping everyone focused on the task at hand.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When I am watching film I look for two things. First I look at the Defensive coordinators tendencies. For example what coverage he plays on 3rd down or when certain players come in the game be alert for different schemes. Lastly I look at player tendencies and how aggressive they are in coverages, run fakes, and pass rushes.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me from other pro prospects is my knowledge for the game. I wasn’t blessed to be 6’5 230 so I have to play smart & efficient.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My offseason plans are to stay in shape and throw as much as I can to be prepared for any opportunity that comes my way.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
The strength I will bring to a team is Leading by example. Anybody can say it but are you willing to do it and set the standards for your team to be successful.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
Just a ball and a Dream. All I need is a chance.
