Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

In my final collegiate season, my biggest goal was to lead the best defense that I could, while being the best player in the conference. By the end of the season, I found myself as the conference player of the week against the #21 ranked team in the country. I was named 1st-team all conference and as a team we had the best conference record in school history. As a defense we finished as the top defense in the conference and top 15 in total defense in the entire country with me as the leader.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say I’m a gritty, hard-nosed player, who would give his all to the team in every way. I gave my all to Saint Anselm College every single day. In the weight room, the film room, the practice field, I treated everything the same way and it propelled my collegiate success.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I focus a lot on the calls that the O-line make, whether it’s the center calling out the protection, the quarterback and how the other lineman communicate. You can pick up a lot about an offense watching offensive lineman pre-snap. How they point to defenses and call their blocks out for run vs. pass. I also focus more on concepts than formations because teams will throw different formations at you to get you to line up a certain way and then run their favorite concepts out of those formations.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My quickness separates me the most along with my combination of power to go with it. My ball get off is elite and coupled with the strength I have allows me to man-handle offensive linemen and get to the ball. My IQ also is way higher than those I compete against as my game as film study is a huge part of my success. I take a lot of pride in being consistent and relentless with my play and it shows up on film.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

During the offseason, I’m focusing on enhancing my agility and strength through a rigorous training regimen. I’m committed to polishing my technique and maintaining peak physical condition to showcase my abilities during scouting events and team workouts. I’m also looking to add 10+ pounds this offseason as I know guys get bigger at every level and I will as well. My bench press is my best lift as strength is essential in the trenches and I look to impress scouts with those numbers when those combines begin.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

On the field, my versatility as a defensive lineman, coupled with my relentless work ethic and leadership skills, sets me apart. I’m a guy that sets the example for others through hard work and dedication to my craft. Off the field, I’m dedicated to being a positive influence in the locker room and in the community, bringing professionalism and a team-first attitude to any organization. As a captain, I was a motivator and always led the pregame speech to our defense, I pushed our guys to be the best they could be and the results showed.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

To the NFL and all professional leagues, I am a proven leader with a relentless drive to succeed. My performance on the field, along with my commitment to continuous improvement, makes me an asset to any team looking for a player who will give their all, day in and day out. I’m ready to contribute, learn, and make an impact at the highest level of competition. I understand I’m a little undersized, but I use that to my advantage as I am quicker than every other linemen. I’m a very high IQ player who thrives by utilizing film study to set myself apart and put our team in the best position possible to win.
