Height: 5-11

Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
In my final season at UNI, I wanted to earn 1st team honors for both conference and all American. I also wanted to have my best field goal percentage of my career (>90%) while also hitting a career long (55 yards). My last goal was to become my school’s all-time leading scorer (413 pts). I did not get a chance to kick a career long, but all other goals have been accomplished or on the way. (All American selections not out).
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would all say I’m a leader. Always been the type to get work done and do it right. I am dependable and trustworthy. I also am the type to help any teammate in need, on or off the field.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
The film room helps me focus on the operation of field goals to make sure everything is smooth and accurate as well as correct technique. I will also watch opponents’ films to see keys on kick off and dead spots for placement kicks.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I think I have had an amazing and long career as a kicker. I’ve seen and been in a lot of situations that have helped me grow as a kicker. I think that will help me in the future and set me apart.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
In the offseason I plan to either train in Cedar Falls and travel to facilities to kick or move down south to a full-time location and kick year-round. Open to other opportunities if they arise.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I am very passionate and consistent in what I do and will work endlessly to perfect my craft. I have both the athlete and kicking mindset so I will always do the most for the team to win. I don’t shy away from conflict or tough situations because they will always prepare me and make me better the next time.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I have always been shrugged off or had a chip on my shoulder from bigger teams not wanting me out of high school. Northern Iowa took a chance on me and never looked back. Ended up being the all-time leading scorer, most career field goals in my conference, 2nd all time FCS, and the highest perfect record of PAT’s recorded in FCS at 155/155. Given an opportunity, I will work tirelessly to prove myself on and off the field.
