Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
To win the Northeast Conference championship.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Dynamic, passionate, and explosive.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
Train every day at Mike Boyle’s Strength and Conditioning. I will prepare as if it is already my job, in a professional and organized way, walking up at the same time every day, eating right, and constantly taking care of my body.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
I look for tendencies in the defense itself, what coverages they run most and when they run them. Also, tendencies in individual defenders, what leverages and techniques they use in different coverages/situations.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
My explosiveness, athleticism, and passion for the game. Also, my versatility and what I can do with the ball in my hands either after the catch or while returning kicks separates me from others.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My love and passion for the game drives me both on and off the field. I am willing to play any position at any time for the sake of my team and love seeing my teammates succeed just as much as seeing myself do well. I love to compete in practice as well as on game day and love to inspire others in the community to do the same. I help coach many football camps in my community and would love to use my platform as a pro player to help promote this great game.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
Coming from a football family and playing since I was 6, seeing my brother go through the draft process and play in the NFL for 3 seasons, I feel I have the ability, the insight, and desire to play at the professional level. Coming from a small state and a small University, I know that no one is guaranteed anything and you must earn what you get and I will take that with me on to the practice field every day. I am willing to do the dirty work and play less glamorous positions for the sake of the team and to play this great game for as long as I can. I bring a passion and love for the game that extends far beyond a paycheck and will do everything in my power to compete and make myself as well as others around me better every day.
