Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
At the start of the season, I wanted to kickoff into the end zone more consistently than I have in the past. I felt like I accomplished this goal, because I kicked more kickoffs into the endzone than ever before.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
A player that is a vocal leader and determined to be the best. Always pushing others to perform their best, while pushing himself to the limit.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
I focus on my steps and my leg swing. If I am getting enough momentum to the ball, and if I am swinging my leg fast enough. Keeping correct form is key, so watching technique and placement of my foot is essential.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I am dedicated to what I love. I strive to be the best kicker in the league or nation. I have that hard work mentality that has always pushed me. I have a strong and consistent leg that I feel confident in and feel like I’m never going to miss.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Hit the gym. I am going to improve my strength and flexibility even more. Get out on the field and kick more work on drills and continue the routine I’ve always have.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Being that leader in the locker room and bringing the energy on the sideline. I always expect the most from myself and others. So, continuous hard work will be flowing through me.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
If you give me a chance, I won’t let you down. I will continue to work diligently and strive to be the best. I am very confident in myself to make every kick possible.
