Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Some of the goals I set in my final season were mostly team goals like winning back to back conference championship, and make run in the playoffs and reach the national championship. Some individual goals I set were to make all-conference honors and to not give up any sacks this season. The goals achieved were, back to back conference champions, and made all-conference honors. We fell short of the national championship with a loss in the quarter-finals, and I didn’t achieve the 0 sacks goal, I gave up 2 in the season.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

Coaches and teammates would say that I’m a selfless player and would do anything for the team in order to succeed and come out with the Win.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When studying film on myself I tend to focus on the good and the bad plays. On good plays, I look to see what I can do better to make it a great play rather than just good. On the bad plays, I go over what I did wrong and work on fixing my mistakes so that I won’t do the same mistake twice. When watching the film there’s always things to improve, nobody is perfect so if you work on your craft you will be mistake-free. When it comes to watching opponents film as an offensive tackle I tend to watch how the defensive end lines up, their go-to moves, and how fast they get off the ball. It is important to study your opponent because if you have a clue of what they are going to do you already won half the battle, the next battle is execution.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from other Pro Prospects at my position is my versatility, I can play Guard and Tackle on both the left and right side. Another thing that separates me is my initial punch, some of my teammates say it’s great and feel sorry for whoever lines up in front of me.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My plan for the offseason is to work on my strength, footwork, and agility to be ready for any professional opportunities that may come my way. I also plan to train with teammates and other athletes in order to push myself and get better.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The strength and abilities that I will bring to a team on and off the field would be leadership, punctuality, and work ethic. I can be a leader on and off the field because I’m very friendly and make friends with everyone and I can also guide my teammates to make smart choices. Punctuality is big for me because I like being early to things no matter what it is. I don’t like to places and be right on time because I don’t like to feel rushed, most time of the time things don’t turn out right when it’s last minute. There’s a saying “if you’re on time you’re late”. Work ethic is also big because if I want something I’m going to do my best to achieve what I have in mind regardless of the obstacles in front of me.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to the NFL or any other Pro Leagues is that I’m ready to work and ready to come in and compete and help the team get better. All I need is an opportunity to demonstrate what I can do and what I can bring to the table.
