Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
One of my main goals I set this year was to be an all conference player and learn more about the game. I actually did win an all conference award and thanks to my o-line coach I was able to learn more about the game as well.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I can’t speak for them, but I feel like they would definitely say that I’m a loyal teammate, I am hardworking, and smart about the game.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I look for the tendencies of the D-lineman and write them down. Once I finish studying them, I like to look at the linebackers as well. I tend to do this so I know what type of formations they blitz from and prepare myself for the worst case scenario.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I can play both sides of the ball, oline or dline. I love to play special teams, my favorite special team to be in is punt. The majority of my college career i conducted our punt team. I have been commended for making my coaches job easier as I was able to lead that special teams group.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Two of my main ones will definitely be to get faster and more agile. I plan to continue working out but not so much as a heavy weight lifter. Instead I would be training more with movements that will help improve when I am on the field.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I will bring in a positive atmosphere, one where everyone feels pushed and determined to be great. Off the field I always like to help out in the community in any way possible.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
Any team that takes a chance on me will find out that I am determined and will push myself to accomplish anything. All my life I have been told that there are things I could not accomplish, yet I was able to prove them wrong and accomplish anything I put my mind to.
