Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I’m not the type to set individual goals, I want to help everyone around me as well. I was focused on helping my team achieve the goal of winning a playoff game for the first time in school history. Even though we didn’t succeed I was proud of my season in general. I stepped up when I was needed, with that came All-Conference and Top 10 in the nation in yards per carry.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
Hard Working, Resilient, Reliable.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
Blitz tendencies by the defense, I think that knowing based on the formation you can make assumptions on how to pick up defenders and keep the offense on the field.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I think that my ability to get downhill quick is what makes me best. I’m not the kind of player to dance around. I also don’t think I’ve played anywhere near my best football yet.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I want to work on my explosiveness. I also want to try and add about up to 10 pounds of muscle.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I think that in big moments I am very reliable to help an offense operate. Off the field I can bring great energy to the team and do anything I am asked. I also feel I am very coachable and ready to learn at all times.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I will always be ready whenever I’m called upon. All I need is an opportunity.
