Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
One of my goals was to outwork anyone who stands in my way during the season. Another goal, I set for myself was winning a conference championship and make the playoffs. We accomplished winning back to back conference championships and made the playoffs back in the 2020/2021 season. My mentality was to become 1st team all-conference player from Newberry College.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would tell anyone that I have a high IQ, humbled, and very much committed to do the things to help the team be successful.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
Watching film, I focus more on many different types receivers and quarterbacks along the way. Watching film helps me see the bigger picture on what I need to expect from many players. This pretty much helps me with my eyes on what I need to read to help myself and my teammates. That has improved a lot throughout my fives years playing college football.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me from other prospects is my ability to lead by example to my teammates and most importantly to my family.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My plans is train as hard as anyone else. As in getting stronger, faster, and just being coachable. The biggest thing is to work on my craft to be the best player i can be in the most humbling way possible.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My strengths is being vocal to my teammates to push them to become better player and person on and off the field.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
You’ll never have to worry about me taking any days off. I am committed to do the right things on and off the field. As a person I looked at things in many different ways as in I get to play the game I truly love and cherish it so much. My heart for football has brought me a long way from a kid to now a young man. I am a team player there’s no “I” in team. All I need is the opportunity to prove everyone that coming from a small D2 school. I have what it takes to become a professional football player.
