Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I graduated with my degree (BBA). I also earned All-Conference Honors and was selected as a Team Captain for consecutive seasons regarding both.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates view me as a leader on and off the field. They know that I am dedicated and trustworthy as well.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I am studying film I look at all the things I need to improve on to enhance my game. One of my first emphasis’s during film study is the O-Line, if you understand them you will know if it’s a run or pass. Secondly, I review the formations and personnel groupings because that tells you if their passing the ball or even running. Additionally, my film analysis helps me improve my pass coverage assignments so I can get one step ahead of the offense.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My ability to make clutch plays during key moments of the game to put my team in position to win, separates me from other pro prospects. This ability I believe contributed to why I had 2 defensive TDs (3rd in conference) 3 forced fumbles (3rd in conference) and 11.5 TFLs (7th in conference) for the season.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

For my training I’m focused on increasing my speed in preparation for my Pro Day and changing my dietary habits so I can be in the best shape of my life.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My ability to stop the run is my primary asset. I usually know what is coming before the ball is snapped due to my extensive film study. As I stated prior I can make game changing plays, which means I am always around the ball.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to the NFL and other leagues is that you would be investing in a guy that is always willing to sacrifice for the team first and who is dedicated to the game. Lastly, that any opportunity afforded me you would see a significant return on that investment.
