Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My goal was to show my consistency and my high hang times and felt I did both very well throughout the season. Even with a new formation this year my teammates put in a lot of work and wouldn’t have been able to accomplish these things without them.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

Both my teammates and coaches would say that I’m a hard worker both on and off the field. Whether it’s in the weight room, the classroom, or on the field. They would also say I’m very specific with how I work and a lot of times would be the last person on the field focusing on the little details in my craft.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

Knowing punting is a very technical position I look for the very small details that most people wouldn’t notice. Paying attention to things like my steps, float, and the way I strike the ball. I also make sure to properly assess each punt situation and see if I executed how I wanted to in that situation and if I pulled out the “right ball” for that situation.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from other prospects is my consistency and my mental. I feel I hold myself to a high level and although I have a strong leg, mentally I feel I have the upper hand on a lot of athletes that is comparable to pros. When it comes to punting my biggest strength is my pooch punt. With how I hold the ball and strike it I’m able to consistently put the ball in the corner while maintaining a high hang time each punt.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I’m currently training with a personal trainer and OneOnOne Kicking in dallas for my upcoming pro day and am constantly trying to surround myself with other top prospects to better my craft and to put myself in a competitive environment.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

It’s a very common answer, but honestly my work ethic. People tend to see specialists as lazy and slack off a lot, but if I’m not on the field working on my craft. I’m either in the weight room trying to grow stronger or am preparing my mental to handle adversity and to thrive through adversity.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

When it comes to leg strength, consitency, and situational punting. I know I have the ability to compete and play at the professional level. It’s just a matter of getting the opportunity to prove it to coaches and I know when I get that chance, coaches won’t regret it!
