Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
Goals were to individually have a good performance during season by putting the defense in the best position to succeed and for my team to make a run at playoffs. I wanted to be a part of a winning team and to contribute to that team.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I think they would say I’m disciplined, reliable, and that I pay attention to detail. They would speak on my effort and strength on the field.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I like to look at what types of plays offenses run at certain parts of the field (boundary/field). I also look at run tendencies from tackles and guards and how certain tackles react to different rushes.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I think my work ethic and discipline separate me from other prospects. I make efforts improve my abilities and maintain consistency in my performance. I ask a lot of questions to make sure there is no confusion with schemes and assignments so that I can play as freely as possible.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Finetuning speed, body control, technique, and health have really been my focus in this offseason plan. Making sure that if an opportunity comes my way, I am prepared to perform at the best of my ability.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My speed and strength and fluidity are key tools that will help me disrupt offenses in the league. My composure is an asset that allows me to perform at a high level on the field and be a good person/teammate off the field.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I’m a disciplined and impactful player. All I need is an opportunity.
