Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The biggest goal I wanted to accomplish was not giving up a touchdown the entire season, which I did accomplish. Also to not give up a pass, which is kind of unrealistic but I only gave up 11 passes in an 11 game season so that was pretty good. Another one was win a National Championship but we as a team did not accomplish that.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I’m a very vocal leader on the field, I make sure to hold everyone accountable for there mess up. A very like able person who gravitates people towards him.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
Because I am not the biggest guy I have to be a film junky so I keep note of every detail receivers show on film. That helps me stay ahead of my competition.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
My knowledge/Understanding of the game propels me ahead of everyone. I can recognize things before they happen and I understand situational football.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I will be working at U48 in Lawrenceville, GA with Manny Rodriguez and his staff.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
As i said before, my biggest strength is my eye for the game. I understand I can do certain things in certain situations while on the field because of the down and distance. I am also a ball hawk, I find my way around the ball a lot. One thing people don’t know is that I can return kicks and punts also, I have been clocked at a 4.37 before so my speed kills.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
If anyone picks me up they will be getting a hard working young man, who’s drive and love for the game is unmatched. Someone who will be active in whatever community he is brought to. I also want to follow in my former teammates, Doug Middleton, shoes and continue to educate people on mental awareness in professional athletes.
