Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My goals at the University of North Texas, was to raise my ability and my knowledge of the game at a faster pace, in addition to advancing to a bowl game and a conference championship game.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates, say that I am a very hard-working, persistent, and versatile player. Anything that the coaches needed from me from playing defensive end, linebacker (Mike and Will), nickel and all special-teams. I have been able to play throughout my career from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor to the University of North Texas.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When studying film about my opponent, When studying film about my opponent, I like to watch the little things, for example, “light hand/heavy hand” and to point out which lineman gives away the play beforehand. While watching for that, I am also looking and breaking down the offensive personnel. Studying and learning my opponents gives me the extra edge going not only to practice, but it’s into games as well.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me from other pro prospects is not only to be a servant leader, but being a multifaceted on and off the field team player.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I have been training at Atlet Sports in Midlothian, Texas to keep my body ready to go at anytime.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Choices. How I chose to respond on and off the field having a sense of community, positive energy and unyielding integrity. Being able to show up early to meetings, weights, and practice with high energy. Also being able to study with my teammates, outside of meetings to make sure that we are knowledgeable about not only our opponent, but the game in general.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
To all NFL and Pro League teams I strongly believe in impact over intent. Continuously executing & elevating the game at the next level is bigger self. Servitude, unyielding work ethic, and a strong desire to win is just a few of the high quality assets I bring to the table, exhibiting return on investment to the ball -club on and off the field. While being a master of many , I am a specialist of the game period and ready to make a difference.
