Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
A goal I set and accomplished was to be a leader and team captain. I wanted to lead by example and put the team before me no matter the circumstances. Also to cherish the little things and to never take them for granted.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say I am a passionate, hardworking leader who is selfless and is someone who takes advantage of opportunities.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
When studying film I focus on many things. The smallest details matter the most such as stance, get off, speed of my routes, angles to block, leverage and anyway that will put me in the best position to win on a route/block to ultimately help my team succeed. Studying the defensive scheme and technique of the DB’s and linebackers that we are up against.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me the most for my position is my size/strength, physicality/willingness to block, work ethic, effort and intelligence for the game.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My offseason plan is to continue to train and prepare mentally, physically and emotionally. I plan on training at TEST football academy 2 months prior to my opportunities.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Strengths that will stand out on and off the field start with my leadership ability, along with my preparation and work ethic for the tasks at hand. My positive attitude and love for the game, as well as being coachable. Lastly the relentless effort I would give day in and day out.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
Everything that I have been through in my life I feel has prepared me for the opportunity to showcase my abilities at the professional level. I’ve had the dream to play at the highest level since I started playing this game and it has burned inside me ever since. All I can ask for is a legitimate opportunity and then it is ultimately on me to perform and show that I belong.
