Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My main goal for this season was to help my team win as many games as we could and we had a great season in our first year of FBS.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I would hope my coaches and teammates would describe me as consistent and reliable. In my position, it’s extremely important to be consistent all the time as there is very little room for error.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When studying film I always try to identify what the punt return team likes to do in block situations, who I’m going to be blocking, and any returns they may try to set up.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I’d say something that separates me from other prospects is the amount of experience I have and with that the confidence I have. I have started 60 + consecutive games in my college career and have learned so much during that time.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Off-season training is always working on being the best athlete I can be both physically and mentally. Sharpening up all aspects of snapping while continuing to improve my strength and speed.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I’d say my biggest strength off the field is making connections with people. All of the hundreds of teammates I’ve had over my years at jmu have all been like brothers to me and we all share a special connection and friendship. On the field, being consistent, reliable, and being able to stay healthy and prepared for 60+ games in a row helps set me apart.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
My final pitch to NFL and other pro teams is that I am an ultra consistent and reliable player who always puts the team first. I will do anything in my power to help the team win.
