Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?
Finished the year healthy is #1, made All-Conference for the second consecutive year, and lead my team every game.
Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?
They would say I’m a smart and physical player. They would probably call me a film junkie, that I am a very hard working player, and somebody they can count on to make the big plays.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
When I’m studying film, I first correct my mistakes and then I study my opponents tendencies as a team. Then, I study players tendencies so I can have a jump on game day.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
I am a very versatile playmaker whose always around the ball, I can cover and I can play down in the box. I am the QB of the secondary and I will lead vocally and with my play on the field.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I will train with our strength and conditioning coach here at Faulkner, working on my craft on the field as well as in the film room.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Like I said before, I will bring versatility, leadership, attitude and the ability to be coachable in any system.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
If you give me an opportunity, I will be the hardest working player you have ever seen. You will get a player who can cover, play down in the box, and is a great open field tackler. I am someone who knows the importance of film study and being able to take coaching. If you give me an opportunity, you will be getting a diamond in the rough, a person that was slept on that’s ready to wake all the doubters up, a steal, and a one of a kind talent.
