Position: WR/P/RS
Height: 6-0

Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My personal goals were to step up and become a leader for the football team after the team lost 20 seniors and I was of the only starters on offense with a lot of playing time in their career. A couple other goals were to break the season and career receiving records. I broke the season record in catches (95), yards (1024) and touchdowns (12). I broke the career receiving catches (221) and yards (2894). I also broke the average per punt record of 41.1 yards per punt.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I’d say my coaches and teammates would describe me as a blue-collar type of player. That I would play through any injury and would do anything and everything for the team whether playing all the snaps on offense or running down on kickoff. I also would think that my teammates would say I am one of the smartest players when it comes to football.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I like to focus on matchups. I like to look at what my opponent is good at and what are they not as good at. If I can find a sliver of opportunity of out playing an opponent, I’m going to take it and use it in my advantage.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I think something that separates me is that I am a multi-positional player. I can catch any pass thrown at me then run down on kickoff after a score. I can return punts and kickoffs as well as punting on special teams. I think I can help a team out with the options as a player I present.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My off-season plan is to build muscle to compete with bigger athletes and to build off the speed I already have and to just build my football knowledge even more.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
On the field a team is going to get a hard worker that will do whatever it takes to help the team whether its play 60 plays or 20 plays or 5 plays. Whatever the team needs I would be willing to accept that role and make the most of it. Off the field you are going to get a guy who cherishes every moment with teammates, coaches, and everyone else possible. A guy who wants to succeed with the people around him and a guy who just loves being in the locker room with the guys.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
If there is one last thing, I have to say is that I have always tried to exceed expectations and defy the odds. Highschool through college I have always been an underdog. I accept the underdog mentality and it pushes me to be better every day and every rep. I know I have more room to grow and become a better player so I’m going to accept that underdog mentality and get to work.
